The charms of living in Warsaw’s Old Town
No one needs to be reminded that Warsaw’s Old Town is a historical place, and its historicity is visible everywhere. Almost every tenement house, every monument, and even smaller architectural objects they are associated with some significant event from the past. It is worth to say that the Old Town is on the UNESCO list. There are a lot of artists around (especially painters decomposing theirs paintings, and musicians), stalls, niche stores with an assortment not available anywhere else, atmospheric pubs and expensive restaurants. In the old town time flows a little differently, as if slower.
Strolling through the narrow streets we will meet enthusiastic trips and many foreigners. The old town speaks all languages of the world. An apartment in the Old Town on one side is very calm, because away from crowded streets and the hustle and bustle that prevails in the business Śródmieście district. The other advantage is we have access to festivals and cultural events all the time (also on outdoor activities), we can participate in theater and other performances attractions. Currently, the Old Town of Warsaw is an example of a wonderful revitalization work.
Most of the tenement houses are thoroughly renovated. Choosing a flat at Castle Square, St. John (or other historic monument sacred object), at Barbakan or near the market, we provide ourselves a luxury of a different kind from that one which is in a new flat apartment building. In the Old Town, we will notice a bit different behavior of people, we will experience this unique atmosphere saturated with history. It is impossible to mention all the charms of life in the Old Town in such a short article.
