Psychology of colours – what colour we should choose?

Psychologists have proven that colours have a significant impact on our comfort and even our behavior! This is because seeing a particular colour, eye sends a nerve impulse to the brain, which in turn stimulates the corresponding organ to cause hormonal response. That is why it is very important for us when choosing colour to drew attention to its properties.

YELLOW
Yellow stimulates thinking, inspires and helps to control our emotions. It also facilitates the decision-making and brings a lot of joy and defuse tension. In some people it can cause irritation. We advise against yellow for unstable and sensitive to criticism people.

WHITE
It is the colour that just as yellow stimulates our thinking. White will also help alleviate the stress and give us a sense of freedom. Colour perfect for dynamic people. Unfortunately – the colour may also escalate the feeling of loneliness.

PINK
It is a colour that aids an atmosphere of relaxation. Colour ideal for a self-confident people, who like risk and athirst for love! We advise against this colour for person emotionally immature – it can arouse feelings of depression.

ORANGE
The colour of optimism, motivation and creativity! Unfortunately, in spite of his “hilarity”, it can cause feelings of loneliness and loss.

RED
It is the colour perfect for workaholics – those who overexert themselves and athirst for success. It can also cause violent reactions, such as defiance, aggression, but also passion. Colour inadvisable for hotheads.

BLUE
This is the strongest antiseptic! It works like an anesthetic and anti-inflammatory. In addition, it calms, soothes the nerves, aids independence and helping us to fall into a deep sleep. Unfortunately, it can escalate feeling of depression, so it is not recommended for people with a pessimistic approach to life.

VIOLET
It’s the perfect colour to alleviate fatigue and stress. However, if you are lonely and have low self-esteem – not recommended. It may deepen these feelings even more.

GREEN
It gives a sense of security and peace. Aids laziness, because effectively calms us. It is recommended especially for those who are overactive and need a moment of silence.

BROWN
It is the colour of nature, so that gives us a feeling of security. However, if you are introverted, then avoid this colour!

BLACK
It’s a colour that despite appearances, works inspiring and support sticking to their own opinion. The colour can be helpful to those who are independent, calm and carrying out managerial functions. May also aids alienation, which is why we advise you to use this colour with caution. 🙂
