LAYOUT:
The property is developed with a residential and utility building with a total area of 1038.65 m2 on a plot of land with a total area of 2674m2. It was built at the end of the 19th century as a classic barn for the architecture of this region, with stone walls and a wooden truss covered with tiles. At the beginning of the twentieth century, it was adapted for the needs of a distillery, operating here as part of a grange. A tower was added, the interior was rebuilt and the ceilings were reinforced. After the war, after decades of unproductive ruin, the new owners adapted the building into an atmospheric guesthouse. The house has a kitchen on the ground floor for shared breakfasts, a 60 m2 atmospheric, well-equipped kitchen with a bread oven, gas stove and dishwasher. From the kitchen there is a direct exit to the terrace in the oak park, where beautiful oaks called: Profesor, Jacek, Wojtek Szczęsny and Tadeusz grow. In the past, interesting conversations about trends in culture and politics took place on this terrace. In the times of non-commercial operation of the distillery, training and summer workshops of the Andrzej Wajda Film School and the Association for Creative Initiatives were held here. There is also a large fireplace in the garden, where you can spend long summer evenings with your loved ones. On the first floor there is an extremely charming leisure annex with a handy library, comfortable sofas and a fireplace. On the second floor there is a Club Room called Teatrum by the owners, perfect for workshops, film screenings and celebrations. In the basement of the distillery there are cellars with arches made of preserved original brick. It is an ideal place to make space for evening meetings, with pool tables. LOCATION:
The building is located in the heart of Masuria in the village of Łupki near Pisz, in close proximity to Lake Roś, the first of the Great Masurian Lakes. Around the village stretches the Piska Forest, rich in flora and fauna of this region. Łupki can be reached from Warsaw by car, it is about 200 km: 1. Route to Białystok (to Ostrów Maz.), Łomża, Kolno, Pisz, Łupki or 2. The route to Augustów (to Ostrołęka), Łomża, Kolno, Pisz, Łupki. In Pisz, 3 km from Łupki, there is also a train and bus station. The village can be reached in just 10 minutes by car or bike, and there you will find many different restaurants, a charming old market, the city beach and numerous shops. At a distance of 24 km from Łupki there is the Zabielne Stud, where summer and winter camps for children and youth are organized. The surrounding forests and lakes around Łupki are conducive to numerous trips, mushrooms and walks. In many nearby holiday facilities, you can book a tennis court or rent a kayak, boat or scooter to sail the many waterways that give you the opportunity to visit a lot of interesting sights of East Prussia. Legend has it that in this area in Masuria there is a hidden amber room, where, according to historians, the famous treasure and works of art may be hidden. The surroundings of the distillery are therefore extremely interesting.
