~ Places related to Fryderyk Chopin ~

In Warsaw, there are a lot of places related to the Fryderyk Chopin. We introduce you with some of them below.

Saski Palace!

This amazingly beautiful place was not rebuilt after World War II. In the autumn of 1810, Justyna and Nicolas Chopin (parents of Polish composer Frédéric Chopin) – lived in the right wing of this palace.

Saski Garden!

Palace’s surrounding areas are closely related with Frédéric. In Chopin’s times, the gardens were modeled and styled to a traditional English garden and park. This is the place where Frédéric played as a child.

Kazimierzowski Palace!

In 1817, the Chopin family consisted of six people! They had to move to a larger apartment and they choose one on the second floor in the left wing of this palace. On the gable wall of this palace is a bas relief of Frédéric.

Zamoyski Palace!

Izabela, the Frédéric’s youngest sister, lived in one of the apartments located in the palace. It was from her windows that Tsarist soldiers threw Fryderyk’s piano to the pavement below.
